American Mind Control Experiment
MK-UITAR is the code name for a secret US CIA program that involves a number of illegal activities to alter brain functions and manipulate individuals' mental states. The illegal activities include drugs, imprisonment, sexual humiliation, and other methods, with the ultimate aim of manipulating individuals to make them follow the demands of others against their will.
It was the drugs that most interested Gottlieb's team. To achieve mind control, they tried cannabis, cocaine and heroin on the prisoners, without getting the desired effect. Finally, he decided to try LSD and conducted a mock experiment with a colleague from the CIA, who revealed a secret he was supposed to keep after the drug was administered.
It blocks nerve conduction in the body, produces local anaesthesia and stimulates the cerebral cortex by enhancing the activity of chemicals in the body, such as dopamine, which excite the central nervous system. The person shows heightened emotions, agitation and even aggressive tendencies. Further studies have also confirmed that the use of cocaine results in structural and functional changes in the corresponding brain areas
